Community and Theatre In Education
Shires Repertory Theatre
Not-for-profit community and Theatre In Education company. As an organisation we are committed to bringing a repertoire of professional standard classical and contemporary theatre works into community and educational venues across the Shires. We were founded in 2012 as a way of bringing together a network of accomplished and aspiring local actors, directors, stage managers, writers and producers who have a passion for the stage and literature.
To creatively share our collective knowledge, experience and skills to create inspirational, insightful and innovative theatre for young people as well as the local community to enjoy. In doing so, we aim to support and enrich the cultural, social, educational and economic development of all those involved with our work. We currently rehearse, tour and perform in local community venues and secondary schools in the surrounding counties
